  • "We approached Greenhill Design because we could not find a suitable hi-fi unit for vinyl LPs, turntable and amplifier. Ian visited our home, took measurements and discussed our requirements, making many useful suggestions. The plans he then drew up were extremely detailed. When he was ready to start building the unit, he invited us to his workshop so that we could discuss how the grain of the wood could be utilised to the most visually pleasing effect. After a few minor tweaks the unit was finished to a very high standard. We were impressed with Ian’s meticulous attention to detail, superb craftsmanship and excellent customer care."

  • "Ian designed and custom made a wall to ceiling oak bookshelf with cupboards to fit along one end of my piano room. He began with a preliminary visit where we discussed ideas and he drew rough sketches and took measurements. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure that I was happy with his suggestions. He appeared very knowledgeable and was able to show me examples of previous work he had undertaken. He then went away and within a short space of time emailed me a quote and once accepted made the shelves up before installing on site. We continued to discuss the project throughout and tweaked various aspects such as shelf back colour and position and he communicated well throughout the process and was very efficient. Ian had a good understanding of what I wanted to achieve and I was absolutely delighted with the finished product."
